A youth club for girls aged 11 to 18 with the aim of providing fun and interactive ways for them to learn about Islam in a safe and friendly environment, whilst making friends, acquiring new skills, gaining confidence and self-esteem.
The HAYA club operates in 6 week blocks and is structured so that each term we have a session covering the topics below:

Rahila is a Secondary school teacher by profession, and it is this background that fuels her passion for education and community building. She takes the lead in shaping how the club operates, managing our finances, and crafting strategies that keep our mission alive.

As a mum of three, Sara understands the challenges of bringing up children, connecting them to their religion and persuading them to engage in social and charitable activities. This is why she is determined to help other mums in this mission.
Sara is qualified in Safeguarding Children and Adults, Basic Life Support, First Aid and Mental Health First Aid.
As Head of Events in HAYA Club, Sara uses her creativity and love for art and culture alongside her professional training and experience to plan events, activities and trips for the girls and offer mentoring and emotional support to club members whenever needed.
HAYA cub is solely run by our dedicated team of volunteers.
